The Nutcracker, a delightful holiday classic, will light up the Secrest Auditorium stage on Saturday, November 30th at 2pm and 6 pm, and on Sunday, December 1st at 2 pm and 6pm. This stunning family-friendly production includes more than 200 local dancers, along with professional guest artists.
THE STORY
The Nutcracker tells the tale of Clara, who is given a special Nutcracker Doll from her Aunt Drosselmeyer. Adventure awaits as her Nutcracker Doll transforms into a Prince who battles the fearsome Mouse Queen. Together, they defeat the Mouse Queen and begin a journey through the Land of the Snow. With the help of the dazzling Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara and her Nutcracker Prince travel to the Land of the Sweets where they are showered with treats and entertained with dances from far away lands.
